Molecular Ecologist
Peter Nguyen is a PhD Candidate in the Quantitative and Systems Biology Graduate Group at the University of California, Merced in Dr. Jason Sexton's Lab. He is also an affiliate researcher at the Joint Genome Institute at Lawerence Berkeley National Lab. His research interests include conservation, plant ecology, and genomics.
He is a National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship (NSF GRFP) recipient `25, a U.S. Department of Energy RENEW Fellow, and a UCSC Earth Futures Institute Fellow.
